Summer is a lovely time of year for newborn shoots as the flowers I can buy are so beautiful and the nests look amazing! This time the newborn nest was woven with soft ruskus and it is the perfect foliage for weaving in and out of the willow. Baby E really enjoyed her nest snooze!

This is one of my favourite images from this shoot as I love the depth and texture and the placement of her hands. Newborn photography is an art and for me that means thinking carefully about composition, lighting and angling the shot in creative ways.
This shot is sweet with them all looking at the new addition to their family – it’s such an exciting time!
